Ipso Facto

Dry-Hopped Sour

Ipso Facto

BEER PROFILE

5.0 ABV14 IBU3.8 SRM

We ditched the fruit additions on this one to showcase an amazing blend of hop varieties. Ipso Facto was soured with our house-cultured Lactobacillus blend then fermented with Kveik yeast before receiving a massive dry hop using Sabro and Nelson Sauvin. Bright complex Citrus, White Grape, and Tangerine notes blend together and completely mask the fact that no fruit was used in the making of this beer.

Comedy Misfits on Feb 12th. Our next ticketed lou Comedy Misfits on Feb 12th.

Our next ticketed lounge event will be a special Comedy Night right before Valentine’s Day weekend happening on Thursday, February 12th.

The Comedy Misfits is a Vancouver Island group of comedians known for diving head first into the awkward, the unfiltered, and the stuff you probably shouldn’t say at family dinner. These shows are messy, electric, and built for people that like their laughs with a little bite.

This is a 19+ show and $20 advance tickets are available in the lounge as well as online. Doors at 7:00. Show at 7:30pm. Our space is small so tickets will be limited.

Other events for January & February are posted as well. We’ll see some of you at Karaoke next Thursday night (Jan 22nd)!

Machu Man Randy Savage We’ve taken inspiration fr Machu Man Randy Savage

We’ve taken inspiration from a few Peruvian flavours for our latest feature! You probably thought we wouldn’t find a way to reference our favourite charismatic ’80s wrestler and the legendary lost city of the Incans in the same breath. Pfft.

Seasoned chicken breast, roasted corn, pickled red onion, fresh jalapeño, shredded mozza, cilantro, finished with an aji verde drizzle.
Pulling the ol’ switcheroo with our featured soup. Pulling the ol’ switcheroo with our featured soup. Fresh on the menu today is Potato Leek & Bacon. Definitely try this one out!
January always feels like a quiet reset. Still win January always feels like a quiet reset. Still winter, but somehow a new season all the same.

We understand why this time of year can feel sleepy, but we’re still here and we’d genuinely love to see you if it’s been a while. The familiar faces at Twin are behind the bar and in the kitchen seven days a week, ready for the kind of low-pressure, casual hangs that January does best.

This month is about touching base. Catching up with your close friends. Sitting at the bar. Bringing the family in. Sharing a pizza. Having one good beer (or a non-alcoholic option) because you feel like it, not because it’s a big night out.

We’re still brewing our core lineup, still working on feature pizzas, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts that we’re excited to share, and still shaping this space to be welcoming for work friends, families, and anyone who needs a familiar place to land.

Spring of this year will mark 9 years of Twin City Brewing. That only happens because of a community that continues to find value in what we do. Thank you for being part of that, especially during the quieter months.

Come by, say hello, and tell us how the holidays treated you. ❤️
