Full-Time Production Assistant
Our team is expanding, and we are looking for the right fit to join as a Production Assistant! This position will be 32-40 hours/week working four or five 8-hour shifts.
We strive for a brew team that endlessly seeks the knowledge to master styles and techniques. We want a team motivated to dive deep and become experts on every technical aspect of making beer. We do not remain content with the status quo. We want to optimize protocols and integrate techniques that make better beer. We focus on sanitation, consistency, and organization to ensure that our beer is always being made with the goal of being better than the batch before.

Ideal candidates for this position should be comfortable on their feet for long periods of time prepared for active and physical work.
Regular tasks will include thing like milling grain, operating a keg cleaning machine, filling kegs and organizing the keg room, shovelling spent grain, cleaning tanks with a clean-in-place (CIP) system, washing down floors and brewhouse spaces, assisting in managing an inventory of brewing supplies.
This position works alongside a small production team and reports directly to the head brewer.
Training will be provided but experience in homebrewing or working in a beer-related industry is expected. Extensive knowledge of the brewing process and BC Craft Beer is also considered a strong asset for this position.
