Assistant Kitchen Manager (Full-Time, Salary Position)
Twin City Brewing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Kitchen Manager to support our kitchen leadership team. This role involves assisting both the Kitchen Manager with supervising the team and ongoing kitchen operations, as well as supporting the Prep Supervisor with daytime prep tasks. The Assistant Kitchen Manager plays a vital role in maintaining a high standard of food quality, efficiency, and team collaboration.
This full-time salaried position offers 38 hours per week, a starting salary of $43K annually, plus benefits and a generous weekly tip-out.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting the Kitchen Manager with staff supervision, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Supervising the line during service to ensure smooth, efficient operations and consistent food quality.
- Supporting the Prep Supervisor with daytime prep operations, including ingredient preparation and inventory management.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene.
- Acting as a key communicator between kitchen staff and management, ensuring team alignment with business objectives.
- Helping execute menu changes, seasonal features, and new initiatives as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
– Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory or lead role.

– Valid FoodSafe certification.

Kitchen Prep Assistant (Full-Time)
Twin City Brewing is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our culinary team. This role will primarily focus on kitchen prep work and assisting with line duties during service.

Responsibilities of this position include:
• Assisting with daily prep work, including ingredient preparation and portioning.
• Supporting line cooks during service with food preparation and cooking.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Handling inventory and helping restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
• Previous kitchen experience is an asset.
• Valid FoodSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks like lifting moderately heavy boxes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Kitchen Line Cooks

• Collecting and pre-rinsing dishes
• Loading and unloading rack dishwasher
• Refilling Line with prep backups
• Keeping a tidy and organized kitchen even during service
• End-of-night cleaning and closing checklist

• Assist with various prep and cleaning tasks during downtimes

Front-of-House Servers

• Maintain tidy Lounge area during service
• Perform end-of-night cleaning and closing tasks
• Aid in restocking and cleaning during downtime
• Welcome & seat customers warmly
• Accurately take and recommend orders
• Serve food and drinks promptly and attractively
• Keep workspace clean and organized
• Engage customers, share menu and feature info
• Upsell merchandise and discuss promotions or sales
• Handle transactions including use of debit terminals
• Coordinate with kitchen for accurate orders
