We focus on friendly, prompt, and accurate service while engaging with our guests about Port Alberni, Craft Beer, and our food menu as well.

We want our local community to ask questions about the beer in their glass because we believe that quality comes from hard work and just because quality might not always be commonplace, that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth searching for.
We are proud to set high standards and to be accountable in maintaining them. Our 60-seat space can be busy at times, so ideal candidates must be confident and work well in a bustling setting. We strongly advocate for teamwork and an open line of communication across the Lounge and Kitchen staff.
Common tasks on any given day will include pouring beer, filling growlers, entering food and drink orders, handling cash, using our POS system, running food orders, tending to tables, clearing tables, and various other jobs to keep the Lounge looking sharp.
Our FT Servers must commit their availability to a minimum of 30 hours per week of a variety of shifts. This position reports directly to the Front-of-House Manager and Assistant Front-of-House Manager.
Candidates must have Serving It Right. Previous serving experience and knowledge of BC Craft Beer is considered a strong asset.
In addition, those applying should exhibit the following qualities;

Foodsafe Certification and Certified Beer Server Training are considered strong assets for this role.
